My Journey to Becoming a Sleep Coach

I was drawn to becoming a Sleep Coach because I saw firsthand how proper rest can change the trajectory of motherhood. I battled good sleep habits for my 2nd baby and quickly figured out that something had to shift for me to be the best mom for my littles.

I am a certified infant & toddler sleep consultant with a background as a pediatric physical therapist. My experience over the years working with families of all different backgrounds has taught me how to effectively support families and their children so they can truly enjoy this special chapter.

But I also hated the idea of cry it out or having to backtrack and fix bad habits. So we met with her 2 weeks after our baby was born to learn the healthy habits to set us up for successful sleep and hopefully avoiding a painful sleep training process. Now, I know baby’s temperament makes up a large part of the puzzle piece, but by putting in place a few key routines, learning our daughters unique wake windows, and following Jessica’s advice early, our baby began sleeping through the night at 2 months and hasn’t stopped. She is now just entering the 4 month sleep regression and is waking up once or twice in her overnight sleep, but because she has learned independent sleeping skills, she can wake up in the middle of the night and put herself back to sleep peacefully, often without any intervention from me. We are so thankful we had met with Jess early and had a game plan from the early days. We haven’t had the experience of painful sleep training, as our daughter has been learning crucial skills in a relatively low cry way from nearly day one. (And I still got to have lots of contact nap cuddles and I fed her when she needed it - nothing was withheld from my daughter.) I’m so glad we met with her BEFORE any sleep problems made themselves known so that we could PREVENT sleepless nights later on. Now we are a few months in and have two fairly well rested parents and a happy content SLEEPING baby."

Each plan is customized with step-by-step guidance to take the guesswork out of the process, so all you need to do is follow simple, manageable steps.

  • I am a certified pediatric sleep consultant through the Institute of Pediatric Sleep & Parenting as well as a licensed pediatric physical therapist for over 10+ years. I am also a fellow mom of three children who are all great independent sleepers!

  • Teaching a baby good sleep habits can be done at any age, even at the newborn stage. I train families with children anywhere from newborn to 5 years of age.

  • My methods are not harmful and will not hurt your baby or disturb your bond with them. Sleep training has been studied and backed by research proving not harmful for multiple years in the future.

  • I do not take insurance but you can pay using HSA/FSA. Payment plans are also available.
